Brownies & Bars, Recipes / 15.09.2016

Some people love peanut butter, some people hate it. I fall into the love category, my hubby - the hate. This means I don't make peanut butter flavoured goodies all that often. So when I do, I don't hold back on the peanut butter. These yummy peanut butter bars are made with a whole jar of the stuff! That's right, an entire jar. Apart from that, there are just a few ingredients, and the recipe is so quick and easy your kids could probably make them! You may remember the Cake Pop craze which dominated the baking world a few years ago. I'm not ashamed to admit I jumped on that bandwagon with great enthusiasm. Bakerella, the inventor of the Cake Pop, remains one of my food heroes to this day. The name "Banoffee" comes from the combination of the words "banana" and "toffee" although the filling is really more of a caramel than a toffee. Before Caramel Treat was invented we would boil a tin of condensed milk  for several hours to make the caramel, but happily now it's as simple as opening up a tin! Banoffee Pie...

My husband and I have recently relocated, and are temporarily staying at an Airbnb until we can move into our new home.  As soon as we arrived at the Airbnb I scouted out the kitchen. Sadly it was not very well equipped - no mixer, no scale, no baking trays, not even a mixing bowl to be found! My fingers were twitching to get baking though, so I racked my brain for a simple recipe that requires next to no equipment to make. I came up with this old favourite of mine, a super quick and easy recipe that delivers extremely...
